Workplace Readiness Programmes (WRPs) are recognized as an important mechanism for combating youth unemployment in South Africa.
The World of Work is changing rapidly and to adapt to such an environment, the most critical skill new entrants may need is the ability to handle change. However, the World of Work does also require some more practical skills, such as being able to communicate effectively, working within a team, being innovative in problem resolutions and managing both workload and time effectively. Mastering these skills will give new entrants the confidence to represent their own “Personal Brand” more professionally – possibly the second most important skill needed in the workplace today.
Our Ready2Rise WRP has been designed to prepare new entrants to the workplace with the self-awareness, appropriate behaviours, critical skills and professionalism to confidently execute their responsibilities in a professional environment.
